1. American Heart Association Triad Walk

We’re thrilled to partner with AHA-Triad for their annual Heart Walk to raise money for the fight against heart disease. This year, the chapter is targeting participation from four college campuses in Greensboro (NC A&T, Greensboro College, UNC Greensboro, Bennett College). The association is promoting the ability to give through uBack to each college campus. Landing pages have also been created to encourage people to download uBack and support the cause.  The push on college campuses has also resulted in newsletter placements and publicity at sporting events. 

2. Second Harvest Food Bank - Empty Bowls 

The Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina’s Empty Bowls luncheon aims to raise awareness and funds to end hunger in the Charlotte area. Each attendee is given a bowl as a reminder that someone’s bowl is always empty. To raise money at the event, attendees will be encouraged to download uBack and give through their phones. This effort eliminates the need for pledge cards and a cumbersome follow-up process. Post-event, Second Harvest will be able to further communicate with attendees with push notifications and news updates within the app. 

3. Explorer Program

The Explorer Program in Chicago launched a First 500 Campaign to build a network of investors who are committed to their cause.  With uBack, donors are able to sign up for recurring payments for as little as $20 a month for the entire year. uBack provides a platform for the Explorer Program to easily manage these transactions, and engage with the donors at any time. Because they’re engaged with the app, donors are able to also leverage the app for additional fundraising events throughout the year.
