For those of you who get our "A Christmas Story" reference in the headline, thank you. Creativity on a Friday afternoon is no small feat. Now, on to this award...
Out of 530 nominees, uBack of has been selected as one of the top 100 finalists in the running for the 16th annual Chicago Innovation Awards. The awards celebrate the most innovative new products and services in the Chicago region across all organization sizes, sectors and industries. And we need your help to win!
You can vote for uBack online here from now until Oct. 5.
Why do we want to win so bad?
The winners will be invited to ring the NASDAQ Bell in New York City, invited to separate meetings with Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Gov. Bruce Rauner and Cook Count President Toni Preckwinkle, and receive widespread media recognition.
That could introduce a lot of people to the innovative work we've been doing to make giving back easier than ever before. And it furthers our mission to help people everywhere change the world.
Here's what uBack co-founder Kaitlin Reimann had to say about the opportunity:
“We are thrilled to be recognized for the innovation we bring to the giving process, making it easier than ever for people to change the world. While we use technology to make this happen, we’ve always known we weren't solving a technology problem, we were solving a human problem.”
Thanks in advance for taking the time to vote for uBack! We couldn't do any of this without all of you, and for that we are truly thankful.
