You may know Techweek as a series of technology conferences in cities across the country. Really, it's so much more than that.

In 2017, the company launched a new mission: to spread wealth creation across diverse places and people through supporting the emergence of "hero" companies.

As Techweek CEO Amanda Signorelli explains in the video below, part of how the company plans to tackle that mission is through a unique partnership with uBack, as well as Walker Sands Communications and DLA Piper, that has created the first-ever Techweek Gives campaign, which challenges Chicago's top 100 tech companies to compete for good from now until Techweek's Chicago conference kicks off June 19.

"With Techweek Gives, we have an opportunity to give back to the Chicago tech community, look to provide more access to elite talent and build real skills," Signorelli said. "We hope that you are as excited as we are and are willing to participate."

The Techweek Gives campaign, powered by uBack, is working to raise $1 million and commit 10,000 volunteer hours in 90 days. To learn more, click here
